Hadn't realized you wrote a follow up, I do like Dale's reaction in it. Beck's reaction when she told him where she got the Scotch from was pure Beck. Very reserved. I don't know if I could say I was a Emily/Jake shipper as much as I firmly believe there's a whole history book between those two and I've kind of always believed that Emily would be lingering in the wings when it came to Jake and a relationship with any other woman. That & believing that the interactions between Beck and Heather (a lot of the time) had ST that seemed to come right out of romance novels, IMO.
